The 2021 Cleveland Indians season is the 121st season for the franchise. It is the ninth season under the leadership of manager Terry Francona and sixth under general manager Mike Chernoff. The Indians play their home games at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio.

After 106 years being known as the Indians, the 2021 will be the last season the team will compete under that nickname after years of controversy. The team announced on December 14, 2020 they would unveil their new moniker and associated uniform and stadium changes before the 2022 season.[1]
