"Det blir alltid värre framåt natten" (English translation: "It Always Becomes Worse When the Night Comes") was the Swedish entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1978, performed in Swedish by Björn Skifs.
At the Eurovision Song Contest 1978 in Paris, 22 April, Björn Skifs intended to cause controversy by singing in English, which could have disqualified him from the contest. Although he decided to perform the song in Swedish, he forgot some of the words during the performance, replacing them with gibberish.
