Survivor is an American reality television show, a derivative of the Swedish program, Expedition Robinson. It is broadcast on CBS and hosted by Jeff Probst, with at least 579 episodes aired since Survivor: Borneo premiered on May 31, 2000. On May 15, 2019, CBS renewed the series for a 39th season, Survivor: Island of the Idols, which premiered on September 25, 2019.[1] The 40th season is scheduled to premiere on February 12, 2020.[2]
