Michael John Kudla (March 8, 1984 - July 15, 2018) was an American Football Player. He was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2006 as an undrafted free agent, but was released soon after due to hamstring injuries.
He was also known for his outstanding strength, with a bench press of 610 pounds.
At the 2006 NFL Scouting Combine , Kudla recorded 45 repetitions on the 225 lbs bench press, tied for the second most since 2000. He however, went undrafted in the 2006 NFL Draft and signed with the Steelers as an Undrafted Free Agent. His professional career was very short as he released the same year due to hamstring injuries.
Kudla died on July 15, 2018 at the age of 34.
