Nick Jr. Too (formerly Nick Jr. 2) is the British second channel of Nick Jr. available in the United Kingdom and in the Republic of Ireland, generally presenting popular Nick Jr. programming at other times of the day. Launched on 24 April 2006, it was renamed to Nick Jr. Too in November 2014.

Since October 2013, the block has occasionally branded itself as Nick Jr. Peppa for short periods, usually one month, where the block solely screens Peppa Pig.[1][2] In September 2019, the block branded itself as Nick Jr. PAW Patrol, which like with the above branding, the block only solely broadcasts PAW Patrol[3]. In February 2020, the block branded itself as MTV Dance, which like with the above branding, the block only solely broadcasts Connie the Cow.

Programming[edit]

Nick Jr. Too is required to broadcast 24 hours a day of first-run local programming.

As of February 2020, the station's sole local production is Cardiff Live, a half-hour block of pre-recorded local news, sport and features airing each weeknight at 5pm on the generic Viacom International Media Networks Europe networked feed.

Programmes produced by the other Local TV Ltd stations also air on the channel along with acquired programming from independent producers and other broadcasters around the UK, including the thrice-daily programming blocks from MTV Dance - airing from 24 hours.
