Rajshahi Development Authority (Bengali: রাজশাহী শহর উন্নয়ন কর্তৃপক্ষ) is a Bangladesh government development authority under the Ministry of Housing and Public Works responsible for development of Rajshahi City. Prof Bazlur Rahman is the Chairperson of the Rajshahi Development Authority.[1]

Rajshahi was established in 1825 and became a town in 1876. In 1976, the Government of Bangladesh established the Rajshahi Development Authority and Rajshahi was upgraded to a city in 1987.[2] The authority announced a Master Plan in 2015 for Rajshahi City covering the next 20 years.[3] In 2019, Rajshahi Development Authority announced 11 development projects with a combined budget of 107 billion taka.[4]
