The 26th District of the Wisconsin Senate is located in southern Wisconsin, and is currently composed of part of the metro Madison, Wisconsin, area, in Dane County. The district includes the campus of the University of Wisconsin–Madison.[1]

Current elected officials[edit]

Kelda Roys is the senator serving the 26th district. She was elected in the 2020 general election. Before serving as a senator, she served two terms in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 2009 to 2013.[2]

The area of the 26th Senate District contains three State Assembly Districts:[3]

The district is also located within Wisconsin's 2nd congressional district, which is represented by U.S. Representative Mark Pocan.[4]
